Guess what I did this weekend.
No, no, I wasn’t in this wedding. Eesh. But I did see Bridesmaids with my best friend. It was funny! We may or may not have been the screamy girls, howling away in the theater. And we didn’t even sneak a bottle of wine in like we did when we saw Black Swan.
Those dresses are breathtaking, though, no?

I don’t know what’s in it. The waitress wouldn’t tell us. But Stefanie (my cousin, pictured in the background) did say the bartender tops it off and fills the straw with Bacardi 151. And that Red Bull stays in the glass, so that it can dilute the drink. Swear to god.
Every so often, I’d see her lift the can slightly, so that the Red Bull would air it out?
And yeah, I tasted it.

On Westchester Avenue, there are all sorts of flavors: curious, suspicious, beguiling, loud, proud, annoyed, focused, quiet. Handsome and serious, with a wink in their eye; eager, tall, young; experienced; with signs that say “We Don’t Buy ANYTHING”; cute; explaining that “I’m really from California”… Really, yes, a lot and so much and so good.
